Please read the section rules before entering. The time limit for each class is 5 minutes unless stated otherwise in the class description.

Class 201 — Vocal Championship (11 to 13 years)

Winner to receive the Elvia Cup and $40, Second $30, Third $20.

Class 202 — Vocal Championship (14 and 15 years)

Winner $50 and the Northbridge Businessmen?s Association Cup,
second $40, third $25.

Class 242 — Music Theatre Song In Costume (14 to 17 years)

This class is open to both individuals and duets.
Two contrasting items in costume and character are to be presented.

Character portrayal, acting, singing and dancing (if appropriate)
for the solo or duet will be judged.

Competitors may choose the order of their items as long as the music
for the Adjudicator is clearly marked and the Stage Manager has been
informed. The Second Item will be performed by the competitor in the
same order as listed in the programme after the interval.

If using backing track, the Competitor will need to supply their own sound system
(e.g., PA system, speakers, CD player).

The Winner will receive the Donnell Cup and $100, Second $75, Third $50.
This class may only take place if there are more than four competitors.

Class 243 — Neila Street Memorial Award (14 and 15 years)

Fee $20 · Sponsored by North Shore Performing Arts Society

Each Competitor will sing 2 items:	
A 20th or 21st Century Art Song, and an own selection.
Competitors may sing their items in any order.

The Winner to receive the Neila Street Memorial Trophy and $50.

This Class may only take place if there are more than four competitors.

Class 244 — Les & Sonia Andrews Cultural Foundation Award (16 and 17 years)

Fee $20 · Sponsored by Les & Sonia Andrews Cultural Foundation

Time limit of 15 minutes. Performers must introduce their three items:
1. A 20th or 21st century art song,
2. German Lied,
3. Own selection.
Programme may be performed in any order.
Adjudicator's copies must be clearly labelled 1,2,3.
Winner receives $100, second $75, third $50.

This class will only take place if there are more than four competitors.
